Feng Shui Wealth Enhancers For Dragon Year 2012-13!

In Feng Shui, various materials and objects can function as money-magnets or 'Wealth-Attractors' as they are more formally termed. The following article considers a number of these.

Mineral Money Magnets!

Animal and Element!

Gem, Crystal and Mineral money-magnets (wealth-attractors in Feng Shui terms) include Diamonds. Classified Yin Metal, in 5 Element/'Wuxing' Theory, these also symbolise the wealth associated with Water, 2012-13 Year Element. The Year Animal, the Dragon, is also associated with wealth (see below)! Quartz, Yin Metal, too, magnifies and amplifies energies of materials displayed alongside it. The Feng Shui principle of 'resemblance' means other minerals can also lend a hand here.

Diamonds and Crystals.

In Feng Shui, whilst Diamonds are classed as Yin (hidden) Metal, glass and plastic Copies (even photos etc) work as well as the 'Real Thing'. Quartz crystals in particular (also Yin Metal in 5 Element terms) or plastic copies enhance the energies and effects of other crystals they are displayed alongside. Herkimer Diamonds, quartz of a particularly pleasing variety, can function as both energy amplifier and wealth-attractor!

Location

From a 5 Element perspective, Dragon Year (2012-13) Yang Water Year Element, has strong associations with wealth. Diamonds (and Quartz) are considered Yin Metal, fortunate for those wishing to profit from their inherent attributes, as Metal produces/supports Water in Feng Shui. Diamonds and similar mineral 'wealth attractors' should be displayed/positioned appropriately. Use the N.W. sector of particular locations for this purpose.

'Resemblance'

This principle explains why real Diamonds are not essential and why glass or plastic ones work just as well (even pictures or photos of diamonds). These are obviously cheaper to acquire! Some large plastic Diamonds, strategically located at home, were obtained fortuitously from a defunct store promotion. An actor-friend supplied more from old stage-props, plus some very convincing fake Gold-bullion bars (Gold and Silver are 'Soft' Yin Metals).

Related Mineral money-magnets include iron-pyrites and Citrine, aka the "merchant stone", which, bringing good business-luck, abundance, fortune and wealth, is a potent wealth enhancer. The principle of resemblance (to Gold) applies in both cases

The 3-Legged Toad aka 'Money Frog'

The Money Frog, or "Chan Chu" in Chinese is a most auspicious money-making aid. Position it near cash registers, receptions, work desks and Piggy Banks etc.

The Dragon

In Feng Shui, the Dragon is most auspicious and magnificent, mightiest of creatures. For Millennia symbolising power, abundance and good fortune, the Dragon generates healthy 'Sheng Qi' bringing good fortune into homes, lives and workplaces. A small golden metal version can be a wealth-attracting Money-Dragon, attracting wealth and prosperity to your home or business.

Gold Ingots and Bars

Gold Ingots or "Yuen Bao" were used as currency by high officials and Emperors in ancient China. In Feng Shui terms, Gold bars and ingots are very auspicious wealth-attractors-fortunately the principle of 'resemblance' means that plastic copies can be as effective as the 'real thing'.

Old Chinese Coins tied together with red string or fabric (via the square hole conveniently provided in their centre) may also encourage the flow of prosperity into your life.

Buddha Figures

In Feng Shui Buddha brings good fortune and blessings to the home or business.

Pa Kua or 'Feng Shui' Mirrors

You can improve the energy flow around your home or business with an octagonal Pa Kua, with a mirror in its centre. This should be placed strategically in a window or above a door, looking outwards into the wider environment--not facing indoors!

Applications

So, Feng Shui tips for 2012-13? Display some (fake) diamonds on your desk or work-top. Add Feng Shui coins, a Three-Legged Toad, some fake Gold, Pyrites or Citrine, enhanced, if possible, with some quartz crystals! The South East 'Wealth' Sector of rooms and dwellings is the obvious display-location. Dragons can also be placed in the East.

Things to avoid? Dragon Years can be extremely volatile and Water the Year Element can represent the Emotions as well as Wealth. An element of caution needs to be built into your wealth-seeking this year,to ensure you don't get carried away by Dragon Year energies and events.
